The Artist
Cynthia Foley I am a 1995 graduate of Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Crafts with a concentration in Jewelry and Metal craft Design. I have over ten years experience in jewelry design, repair and manufacturing. I am currently employed full-time as a bench jeweler for a major department store chain and working in my home studio part-time as often as I can. My artistic interests also include woodworking, glass work, and fiber arts such as quilting, sewing, fabric painting and embellishment. Styles of influence include Art Nouveau, Art Deco, The Arts and Crafts Movement, and Celtic Knot work. All of which you will see throughout my designs. Much of my work contains an organic, sinewy flow with a very feminine quality.
